Kerry | Jewish supporters aim at key states
A Massachusetts group of leading Jewish supporters of John Kerry’s candidacy will spread out across the country in the next three months, targeting presidential campaign battleground states to challenge President Bush’s perceived gains among a critical Democratic constituency.

A dozen or more Jewish civic and political officials — led by Steve Grossman, former chairman of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and Alan Solomont, Kerry’s New England finance chairman — will campaign in Florida, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, where Jewish voters could well tip the balance and decide the presidential election.

Dont Jews run the US? If the Jews support Kerry, how will the Arabs and Pallestinians feel about that?

Jews are gonna vote for Bush. He can get away with it in the Arab world, and still keep them on board with the war on terror. They have come to terms with it.

Kerry is an unknown in the Arab world. His attack on Saudi Arabia, belittlement of Pakistan’s efforts in the war on terror, and vote against the war to liberate Kuwait dont go well with endorsements by Jews with big mouths organizations.

Kerry’s condemnation of the Israeli security barrier in October 2003, and support for it in February 2004 - are clear messages to the Arab world that he can not be trusted.

Arabs have accepted that Bush is a “friend” to Israel. A true friend who will help Isreal do the hard things like abandon West-Bank settlements. He can also be a friend to Arab nations and declare that Turkey (a long time NATO ally) should be considered for EU membership.

Jews are sophisticated Americans and will see through his attempts. They are not guided by hate of Arabs, and bashing Saudi Arabia wont work. He has a better chance of increasing Arab-American support, although a few kind words from our Arab allies supporting Bush could sway them.

Kerry’s wish to gain favor with the French (expect a trip for a photo-op with Chirac soon) will not gain his favor with Jews or Arabs. Sharon’s falling out with Chirac, and the coming “headscarf” protests will make that a costly handshake. Kerry is flailing about, and it shows.

Once again…FLIP-FLOP:

October 2003: Kerry Calls Fence “Barrier To Peace.” “And I know how disheartened Palestinians are by the Israeli government’s decision to build a barrier off the green line, cutting deeply into Palestinian areas. We do not need another barrier to peace. Provocative and counterproductive measures only harm Israel’s security over the long- term, they increase hardships to the Palestinian people, and they make the process of negotiating an eventual settlement that much harder.” (Sen. John Kerry, Remarks Before Arab American Institute National Leadership Conference, Dearborn, MI, 10/17/03)

February 2004: Kerry Calls Fence “Legitimate Act Of Self-Defense.” “US Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, the frontrunner in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, described Israel’s construction of a security barrier as a ‘legitimate act of self defense’ after Sunday’s suicide bombing in Jerusalem, clarifying a position he took in October when he told an Arab American audience, ‘We don’t need another barrier to peace.’” (Janine Zacharia, “Kerry Defends Security Fence,” The Jerusalem

My mother and a lot of old line Jewish FDR/Truman Democrats are going to be very unhappy if Kerry doesn’t win.

Winter Soldier.

I predict that if Kerry does well he will poll in the low 40s.
