Boston | Convention Dems not takin' Whoopi
NY DAILY NEWS: Convention Dems not takin’ Whoopi Don’t look for Whoopi Goldberg at the Democratic National Convention: We hear the Kerry-Edwards campaign thinks the comic is still radioactive after her controversial Bush-bashing jokes at a recent Radio City fund-raiser. (FYI: Crystal and Goldberg were co-hosts of the Comic Relief fundraising comedy concerts along with Robin Williams.) Posted by Laurence Simon at July 27, 2004 10:21 AM | TrackBack Comments
“There’s plenty to say about Bush without resorting to name-calling.” Precisely. Whoopi blew it. It happens when True Believers get themselves all het up. Happens hereon, ftm. There are consequences to such behavior, and she’s now learning what they are. Works for me. Is there some Actual Problem here? Posted by: Don Consequences, yes, of course. Yes, even one of Kerry’s stongest and most biased newspaper supporters report that he is Losing Ground fast http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5524805/ They are DESPERATE for him to say SOMETHING POSITIVE about himself and his campaign AT LAST on Thursday. Alas, they will wait IN VAIN. He can’t say what DOES NOT EXIST He is a Liberal Democrat. Posted by: leaddog2 At LONG LAST, an element of TRUTH from the Far Left and the Demons. Stern Says Dems Totally Devoid of Ideas (or Truth, in my Opinion) Posted by: leaddog2 Ooops! Posted the Wrong URL! The Stern Nuclear Blast against the Dems is below! Stern says Dems have NO IDEAS (and NO TRUTH, in My Opinion Posted by: leaddog2 The Democrats don’t get it. It isn’t just the words and actions of Whoppi Goldberg or anyone else in the pretentious Hollywood crowd that pose a problem - it’s the dems themselves and their watered-down, me-too, shifting-with-the-winds policy, “ain’t-war-a-bummer” message that’s “radioactive.” It’s obvious that they are trying and hide and/or camouflage what and who they really are, and it’s embarrassing. But hey, I think they’re doing a GREAT job - from my perspective - and hope that they stick with the program. Posted by: Jim make that “….trying to hide….” Posted by: Jim Isn’t it funny, the dems have to pretend to be who they’re not for their convention. I assure you, George Bush will be George Bush, yesterday, tomorrow, forever. Someone needs to tell that ‘self made billionaire’ (eyes rolling) that if you tell the truth, you don’t have to try to remember what you said. Posted by: No Party Democrats have ideas. They have jingoist schlock too at times, but not like you folks have jingoist schlock. True professionals, there…possibly if Stern ever gets around to painting boobies with the red, white, and blue then he will have jingoist schock as well. Posted by: obelus Post a comment
