Bush | Cheney Campaign Bus Heads Through Ohio

AP: Cheney Campaign Bus Heads Through Ohio

Dick Cheney left his suit coat in Washington, shed his sport coat in Parma and hopped aboard a red, white and blue bus Saturday to go cruising for votes, predicting that President Bush’s “hope and optimism” will trump “Senator Kerry’s pessimism” on Nov. 2.

“It’s a great day for a bus ride,” Cheney declared at the outset of a two-day rolling tour through Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In fact, it was a day of dueling bus tours as John Kerry’s campaign staked out the highways of Wisconsin and Iowa.

First stop for Cheney: the sweltering banquet hall of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church in Parma, where hundreds of GOP faithful bellowed cheers for the Republican ticket and plentiful boos at the mere mention of Kerry.

“This is the good part of the speech,” Cheney grinned, as he launched into a scathing critique of Kerry’s economic policies.

“His big idea for cheering up the country? Raise your taxes,” Cheney declared.

Cheney is a right wing predator. I just read this book about the neo-cons. It tells you how our country was sucked into war in Iraq and that the neo-cons WON the war. Or at least they accomplished their goals. Very insightful. They won, America lost!

I like the way that all evil in the Universe is now being ascribed to a cabal known as the “neo-cons”. Interesting devil theory.

Well, Limp (if that’s your real name) if you liked that book you’ll love The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

That’s the great thing about myths, you know. Every generation gets to reinvent the eternal verities.
