2004 US Presidential Election
June 28, 2004
Nader | Nader Criticizes Dems
AP, through MSNBC.com, reports on Ralph Nader’s fight to remain on state ballots, despite attempts to keep him off. Nader also criticizes Democrats for ignoring their “own failures.” Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader, working to get the 1,000 signatures needed to get on the Washington ballot, told supporters Sunday the Democrats trying to get him out of the race are overlooking their own failures. I will vote nader and then leave the country forever.Kerry is no better than the moron bush.kerry is not a moron, but he is controlled by the jewish, military, imperialistic lobbies just like bush.I have had enough.nader should be our president ,but it just is not going to happen, ever.so I will vote with my feet as reagan once said.I want no part of this filthy war machine, and anyway what future does a country have that invests it’s treasures in death and destruction? Posted by: p nuzzi at June 28, 2004 12:54 PM Let’s face it, if it was not for Ralf Nader, Gore would be the Commander-in-Chief, we would not be in that mess in Iraq as we would not have invaded it and domestically the deficit would still be a surplus. Furthermore and more importantly we would probably have captured Bin Laden by now and the war on terror would be on track. Instead of that we have the most incompetent US administration ever. So yes Mr Nader, nothing to be proud of. The Democrats are trying to put you out of the race? Good for them! For me it is simply a question of patriotism. When you see the damage done in four years to our great country only a fool or an anti-American would want to add four more years of failures. Posted by: Cluster bomb at June 28, 2004 01:00 PM Hey Cluster Bomb were you complaining when Clinton won two elections with the help of a 3rd party candidate? Posted by: Red at June 28, 2004 01:04 PM So Pnuzzi, picked a country to emigrate to? Got your entrance visa? I hear that the former eastern block countries are just lovely this time of year. You can get work helping them dig their way out of the mess the worker’s paradise turned their homelands into. And cluster bomb, your lack of understanding in how democracy works is superceded only by your ignorance of what the term patriotism actually mean. Posted by: skip at June 28, 2004 01:06 PM Skip you don’t know what you are talking about. I read many of your comments in here and obviously you don’t know your head from your arse so don’t even try to give lessons on democracy you don’t know the meaning of it. If I were you I would put your brain in a skip (if you can find it) and send it to the refuse dump. Can’t see a better place for it! Posted by: Cluster bomb at June 28, 2004 01:17 PM Nader continues to amuse. Posted by: Bostonian at June 28, 2004 01:19 PM Red, I was enjoying the ride. Posted by: Cluster bomb at June 28, 2004 01:23 PM Cluster bomb, that’s it, that’s the way: show everyone here your vast mastery of the english language and the nuances of the written word. While you’re at it, demonstrate your deep understanding of debate, as in advancing an argument, refuting the arguments of others, you know stuff that people with an education learned while you were attending the Free Mumia rallies. And I can always tell when someone has run out of cogent arguments as they revert to trying to make fun of my name. Cluster, you’re sadly lacking in ideas, you and your leftist friends have nothing new to offer. Your ideas have failed and you are too deep in denial to admit it. In the meantime you and public figures you support are damaging our efforts and needlessly endangering our troops. Socialism won’t work, it hasn’t yet. I don’t want to live in a socialist police state, nor do I wish to see my hard work go for naught at the hands of some liberal bureaucrat. so listen up pal, all the foul language and silly retorts won’t change this: you’re wrong so are your useful idiot fellow travellers. Posted by: skip at June 28, 2004 02:12 PM “Furthermore and more importantly we would probably have captured Bin Laden by now and the war on terror would be on track.” You forgot lollipop production would have been twice as high! Damn the BushHitler for depriving us of all those tasty lollipops! Posted by: Döbeln at June 28, 2004 02:35 PM Let’s face it, if it was not for Ralf Nader, Gore would be the Commander-in-Chief, we would not be in that mess in Iraq as we would not have invaded it and domestically the deficit would still be a surplus. Furthermore and more importantly we would probably have captured Bin Laden by now and the war on terror would be on track. ROFLMFAO! Wow, he hits one out of the park…as both the DUMBEST AND FUNNIEST (and yes, they ARE mutually inclusive in this instance!) things ever posted on TCP! AND, I feel CERTAIN that had Al Bore been President, the Internet as we know it would have evolved into people just passin information through telepathy…! Further, let me put it in simpler terms for your obvious short falls: You have $5 in your checking account on Thursday. You get paid $500 on Friday. Your Mortgage of $1,000 is due on a Monday. As of Saturday, would you consider that you have a surplus in your checking account?! (rhetorical) Saturday and Sunday were the Clinton/Gore era. Futhermore, well hey…13th or 14th time’s a charm, huh?!? Posted by: American_Defender at June 28, 2004 02:36 PM BTW P Nuzzi… If you HURRY, there are a bunch of actors/actresses who are chartering a boat/plane (of course they HAVE been for about 3 1/2 years now!)…drop them a line and you can probably catch a ride! Posted by: American_Defender at June 28, 2004 02:38 PM Skippy, First of all I am glad to say I am NOT your “pal”. Secondly you should read your own comments full of insults and stop giving lessons to others about “the mastery of the English language”, the “understanding of debate” and all that crap. I can see clearly that you are a monument of hypocrisy. Thirdly you seem as obsessed with socialism as Hoover was with communism. As we all know his obsession was hiding his deep desire for his fellow men (litterally). So go back to your skip where you belong and if you ever think you have anything intelligent to say, don’t believe it! Posted by: Cluster bomb at June 28, 2004 02:43 PM American defender, If the US administration had spent $30 billion tracking Bin Laden instead of spending it to destroy Iraq, as I said, yes we would probably have been able to capture Bin Laden and the war on terrorism would still be on track. Instead we are fueling terrorism. So you can clown all you want, it does not make your argument a better one. And quite frankly the tens of thousands of Iraqi lives destroyed and the 850 US service men and women who lost their lives without forgetting the thousands maimed DO NOT make me laugh. Posted by: Cluster bomb at June 28, 2004 02:58 PM BWAHAHAHAHA! What a snappy comeback. It keeps getting better…keep ‘em comin’! (rolls eyes) Posted by: American_Defender at June 28, 2004 03:14 PM cluster bomb is lame. Gore would have surrendered to the terrorist in an attempt to understand their “feelings”. He would have increased taxes and spending on fighting world poverty and other “root causes”. He would negioated a cease fire with the taliban in exchange for a generious aid package. We would have been a joke. He would have confirmed every terrorist sterotype of America: lots of guns, no balls to use them. The second and third waves following Sept. 11 would have happened to gain more concessions fron the Gore Adminstration. Posted by: chris at June 28, 2004 03:15 PM Aw gee — Little Ralphie is fromaged because the Ds aren’t going to let him try to undo what they are trying to do yet again. Ralphie is addled. The Left deserves him. The country doesn’t. Posted by: Don at June 28, 2004 03:17 PM Ummm… Cluster Bomb - no one is laughing at the the soldiers. They’re heroes. We’re laughing at YOU, your astonishing ignorance, and your complete lack of coherent thought. Posted by: Trippin at June 28, 2004 03:19 PM Clusterbomb, you must have studied under the Al Gore school of debate. Insult your opponents, ignore the facts, and generaly eschew the concept of well formed debate that is one of the more enjoyable parts of this blog. If you can’t articulate your views without resorting to insults like some five year old, you might just need a time out. Posted by: Brian at June 28, 2004 03:32 PM Don’t forget a diaper change Brian! BTW- Crack babies need luv too!!! Posted by: American_Defender at June 28, 2004 03:36 PM Plus if Gore would have been President, (God forbid) all of us digital brown shirts would be out of a job. Anyone who would still want that lunitic as president should have thier head examined. Maybe you all can get a volume discount. Posted by: Jay - MN at June 28, 2004 04:22 PM so let me be sure I’m getting this right, there Clustah: I’m a monument to hypocracy who is denying his latent homosexual proclivities. Did I get that right? Oh and thanks for calling me Skippy, just like being called a nazi, this signals the end of your arguments, you’ve lost. But speaking strictly as a wanna be gay monument to hypocracy does anybody know where a fellah can come by a good martini? I think martini’s are just soooooo devine. Wow, the debating skills on display here today, my my Posted by: skip at June 28, 2004 05:35 PM Please don’t feed the TROLLS Posted by: Herb at June 28, 2004 07:12 PM I agree. It seems to be time to vote with our feet. George Washington warned about ‘entangling foreign alliances’ but we didn’t heed his advice. Israel has pulled the US into its conflict with the Arab world. Kerry has shown no independence and has essentially said that he will follow Bush’s foreign policy in the Middle East. This policy is the very reason for Bush’s low popularity!! Why would we want a copy of Bush when we already have the real thing. The answer is NO! Those who have lived abroad and can see the US with some perspective, and yet still love the US and want it to succeed as a nation feel that there is only one choice: Vote for Nader, the only candidate that promises American Independence from Israel. Or Give up on the American dream altogether. Posted by: Anguished at June 30, 2004 11:20 PM I agree. It seems to be time to vote with our feet.
