Kerry | Vilsack For Veep?
The LA Times reports that Tom Vilsack, Governor of Iowa, is on Kerry’s short list for running mate.

Ha. If anyone here happens to watch “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”, they’ll know why Vilsack is NOT going to be selected for V.P. :)
For those that don’t, the punchline: “His last name ends with sack.”

I don’t see why anyone is even bothering to speculate. Kerry is going to pick Edwards because Edwards is the consensus pick. Kerry always follows the consensus regardless of where it leads him (usually to the next consensus).
Add into speculation the possibility of Edwards delivering an actual southern state for the Democratic ticket and Edwards is in like Flynn.

Tom Vilsack is a BIGOT
No one desputes the legitimacy of the English language in the United States. To make it an official language of the state, like Tom Vilsack did in his state of Iowa is a direct attack on immigrants and the cultural diversity that has made America what it is today.
