Expatica has an interesting article on the role of a hidden minority in this year’s election that could have a critical swing vote in a close election … not the Nader vote, but American expats overseas.

Eventually, I would like to think that Iraq will become the closest thing to a 51st State—either that or the “United States East”.

That article is astonishingly slanted to the left.

Ironic, considering that most US citizens outside of the country are military, which votes OVERWHELMINGLY republican in every election, espescially presidential.

Eric,
Quoting Dan Quayle is such an oft-used liberal media tactic.

It’s even more ironic, that this “left slanted” article supports the factoid you just spouted:
“The American expat population in Germany is, at 250,000, the fourth largest in the world, and one fifth of those are in the military - conservative voters who generally tend to support the Republican candidate and whose votes were so important in the outcome of the 2000 election.”

“Robert Pingeon, regional chair of Republicans Abroad Europe, says that, historically, expatriate Americans have voted 3-to-1 for Republican candidates in federal elections.”

ok, ep2k

All I see is the Libs have come up with a new way of cheating. I’m sure they’ll have the vote of every deceased expatriot.

Some liar in the article propagandized, “By our estimates, the majority of overseas voters vote Democratic, maybe because those of us who live abroad can see firsthand how the domestic and foreign policies of the misguided Bush administration have put America on the wrong track, and that it will take years to undo what it has done at home and abroad,” she writes.”

Man…..They are so well informed. (rolling eyes) The old ‘crap in - crap out’. If we think the media here is BAD, imagine what the folks overseas are getting shoved down their throats. The libeal a—wipes almost make it sound like they want the rest of the world to vote in our elections, since we have so much effect on the world. It’s clear to me the liberals would just as soon hand the keys to the US over to the UN.

Remember folks, “A VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY IS A VOTE FOR TED KENNEDY”.

Scroll NOW if you don’t like my rants—-

It seems like thousands of people have been coming up to me lately asking how on earth a fruitcake like John Kerry could get into a position of having the potential to wreck the United States.

It seems like hundreds of foreign officials, that asked to remain anonymous, have come up to me lately and voiced their support of George Bush. They said they can’t speak publicly about it in their countries because their liberal socialist media will bash them to death.
