Kerry | Kerry-McCain: The Story That Will Not Die

The Australian reports on continued Washington rumors of a Kerry / McCain ticket. Frankly, a story with legs like these gets its strength from somewhere. Curiouser and curiouser …

The concept is stupid. A Democrat President wouldn’t want to have the tie vote in the Senate be a Republican? Or to have the line of succession transfer to the Republicans if something happend to Kerry? Or give the incumbant advantage to the Republicans after the term was over?

Unlikely on so many fronts its laughable. Besides McCain says he doesn’t want it. HIllary has been keeping these ideas alive. One has to wonder why.

It is the best choice for this country at the the moment. Although it might be a dream but it is such a good one that we hope this dream come true.

The country is so deeply divided and polarized by the partisan politics since 2000. Because of Bush administrations mismanagement, we are facing crisis in many fronts and only a united and able government will save us from disasters.

It is time for both republicans and democrats to put country above the party at this critical moment of our nation, and to restore competency, integrity and honesty to our government, to restore people’s trust and confidence for our governemnt.
