Kerry | Kerry, Nader to Meet to Discuss Issues
AP: Kerry, Nader to Meet to Discuss Issues When Democratic presidential candidate John Kerrymeets with independent rival Ralph Nader on Wednesday, Kerry isn’t likely to ask him to leave the race. And it’s even less likely that Nader will offer to bow out. Posted by Laurence Simon at May 19, 2004 10:09 AM | TrackBack Comments
I wonder if Nader is going to buck for VP? I’m sure he’d take it, but it would seem to hurt Kerry more than it helps him. Posted by: samuelv at May 19, 2004 10:23 AM ROFLMAO. Kerry may not be able to produce his ellusive ‘foriegn leaders’ supporters, but he does have Ralph Nader. Secretary of Defense? Posted by: mark buehner at May 19, 2004 11:52 AM Okay, this is a bit weird for me- what are these two up to? Plotting out a last minute Nader endorsement? Coordinating their attacks? Aren’t these two running AGAINST each other, and chasing the same voters? There is more to this than we are seeing. Posted by: Gerry Owen at May 19, 2004 12:38 PM Kerry would do anything for power. Even if it meanns changing some of his views to match Nader’s, just to try to get some of his votes. But who really knows what john F’n Kerry’s views are? They cahnge on a daily basis. Posted by: Soldier in Iraq at May 19, 2004 01:07 PM // “Kerry probably will point out that the two rivals share a goal — ousting President Bush…” // This is why Kerry has no business being president and why the democratic party should just disband so one or more new parties can take it’s place. Notice, it isn’t about ideas or leadership… They (Kerry and the Dems) aren’t trying to win the whitehouse so they can implement their own ideas and lead the American people to their vision of America. This is all just about “Getting Bush” And notice this… “I think that’s for the good of our country and for the benefit of the American people that are being ignored or repudiated by the Bush regime,” Nader said in an interview. I’m not talking about how it’s refered to as “The Bush Regime”. I understand that to them, anyone to the right of, say Joe Lieberman, is a Nazi. I mean, Nader seems to be completely oblivious to the fact that HE’S ignoring and repudiating the 50% of America that ELECTED George Bush. Posted by: eric at May 19, 2004 02:07 PM OOOPS… I posted the “except he did lie” comment in the wrong thread. If the management would like to clean that up, please feel free. Posted by: eric at May 19, 2004 02:09 PM Today’s reason to dispatch Bush: “As of August, 2003 George W. Bush spent 27 percent of his presidency on vacation. This is the most vacation time that any modern US president has taken.” Especially while fighting two wars! What a stand-up guy! Posted by: x at May 19, 2004 02:12 PM We don’t need someone as President who changes his mind with the breeze. President Bush is true to his constituents and country. He does not back down and does not change his mind. President Bush is what a true LEADER should be. I am a retired National Guardsman and beleive in strong leadership with discipline. Kerry does not have either. Posted by: David Bryant at May 19, 2004 02:20 PM “As of August, 2003 George W. Bush spent 27 percent of his presidency on vacation. Perhaps when you grow up and get out in the real world, you will be in a position to understand that. Posted by: eric at May 19, 2004 04:55 PM Post a comment
