Bush | Bush Attacks Kerry in Spanish
This is pretty ingenius. The Bush campaign has released two versions of a new commercial highlighting his education vision. One commercial is in english and presents a tame “positive” message about leaving no child behind. The other version is visually the same but the voice-over is in spanish and the message attacks Kerry for flip-floping on ‘No Child Left Behind’. The WaPo article reporting this though overstates the level of attack in the spanish version (surprise) as you can see for yourself by following the link below. Spell check: should be “ingenious” Posted by: billhedrick at May 14, 2004 12:07 PM hmm…clever on Bush’s Election team part. Kudo’s too them Posted by: Jewels (AKA Julian) at May 14, 2004 08:34 PM Pretty despicable for Bush’s team calling Kerry a flip flopper. Whats that you say? Kerry support ‘no child left behind’ and now he doesnt… but that would be after Bush lied again saying he would fully fund it. On the other hand maybe anyone who believed Bush at any time really should have their credibility questioned. Posted by: Loofa at May 18, 2004 12:26 AM well loofa, I guess you haven’t seen the 265 no votes of kerry commercial yet…. fits in perfectly with flip flop kerry. kerry is busy campaigning for everything he voted agaisn’t LMAO what an idiot. Posted by: Fat Guy at May 18, 2004 01:03 AM You mean flip flop Bush- Jeez- did I got over a dozen Bush flip flops on the 9/11 commision this year alone. Hey check out the RNC’s policy statement from election 2000: “The arrogance, inconsistency, and unreliability of the administration’s diplomacy have undermined American alliances, alienated friends, and emboldened our adversaries.” [ed. this is referring to Clinton’s administration] “Gerrymandered congressional districts are an affront to democracy and an insult to the voters. We oppose that and any other attempt to rig the electoral process.” “Nor should the intelligence community be made the scapegoat for political misjudgments. A Republican administration working with the Congress will respect the needs and quiet sacrifices of these public servants as it strengthens America’s intelligence and counter-intelligence capabilities and reorients them toward the dangers of the future.” Well Mission Accomplished! Bush has flip flopped on all of them! Posted by: Loofa at May 18, 2004 11:31 PM Post a comment
