That ought to confuse the Florida voters. Posted by: RJT at May 12, 2004 08:05 PM As the only anti-war candidate in the field, Nader might get some traction if the bad news from Iraq keeps up. Posted by: Andy at May 13, 2004 01:58 AM Since when in the world are Reform Party people conservative? Libertarians just ‘barely’ conservative themselves let along Reform Party people. Sorry.. But I don’t buy it. You would have to greatly bastardize the principles and values of conservatism in order to suggest that Reform Party people are conservative. As for my Libertarian Comment? Libertarians seems to want to slice up the United States of America in order to create tons of different countries for Native Americans. How’s that for ‘Conservatism?’ Don’t believe me? Check out the Libertarian platform. Written there loud and clear is ‘Give the Native Americans their own soverignty’ (excuse bad spelling) Posted by: Jeff MacMillan at May 13, 2004 12:25 PM Some Reform people are still conservative. Betcha more are ex-communist whackjobs, though. Third Parties tend to attract the best and brightest in the moonbat universe. But there are still some charmers out on the far Right. A Pittsburgh radio station was advertising a speech event by the head of the John Birchers the last time I was in the ‘Burgh. Imagine! The John Birch Society is still alive and well.
