Wow, i could actually agree with him on that, and Mccain would probably improve Bush’s chances at reelection.

I like McCain a lot, but was disappointed (to out it mildly) as well as baffled by his treatment of Rummy in the hearings. Now I think I understand.

Oddly enough I never cared for McCain. I felt him too oily..meaning I didn’t trust him. He seems to say the perfect things and tries too hard to be respected by both parties. And I felt that way when I was a Democrat and the same now that I’m crossing to the other side.

Don Imus asked Kerry on air this morning whom he would choose for SecDef, he replied that McCain or Carl Levin would be on his short list.

Carl Levin.

As a recovering arizonan I can understand McCain’s antics. he has to be a republican to get elected but he’s got the mind of a democrat. Plus he adores the spotlight and hasn’t quite gotten over losing to Bush in the Primaries.

I don’t trust the guy simply because he’ll do what’s best for John Mc Cain first.

I say we make John McCain the premeir / president of Switzerland. Switzerland is a neutral country. They can’t make up who they should side with. John McCain is a ‘go with the wind’ politician. So? Perfect Fit. John McCain can flip flop flounder both sides of the aile faster than a spinning spittoon.

I don’t understand why anyone could like John McCain. He’s a Republican in name only. He should have switched to the Democratic Party a loooooong time ago.

When asked about this on Hannity & Colmes last night, McCain answered in a typically crafty fashion. Ahem. He said, and I quote, “no.” Several times, in response to the question being put in several different ways. He also stated, quite unequivocally, that although Kerry is his friend, he supports George Bush in his bid for re-election. Sounds like Kerry was just trying to make a headline but McCain isn’t going along.

Hmmm. McCain, OR Levin. You cannot make stuff like this up.

Who’s up for AG — Bob Bork OR Ramsey Clarke?

What would you like to drink, Senator? Talisker OR Mountain Dew?

Thank G-d Boston only has one baseball team.

Jeff: That is exactly the attitude which has led this one-time Republican-In-Name-Only to become a Democrat-In-Name-Only.

Keep taking down poles in the Big Tent, and you’re going to find yourself standing under something not quite wide enough to keep the rain off a midget.

But what is it with New Democrats and Republican Secretaries of Defense?

McCain flip flops just as bad as kerry. I don’t trust him either. He’s prone to corruption.

Rumsfield is sharp, just wait, things are already spinning back the other way. Today he remarked about the “garbage” in western media, as well as the outright lies in Arab media. Plus rumblings about the iraqi police themselves doing alot of this Abuse, followed by a retraction in the boston globe about running fake pictures on abuse which we sent by arab sources.

If Lyndie and her friends “abused” the Iraqi prisoners at the suggestion of or after being “ordered” to by someone from the CIA, why aren’t Kerry and his crew (McCain included) demanding the resignation of George Tenet?
