2004 US Presidential Election
March 30, 2004
| The Answer Is "Yes"
The BBC wonders “Will the Dean-iacs back Kerry?” Well, I feel relatively confident that Bush won’t get their vote. Posted by Alan at March 30, 2004 08:27 AM | TrackBack Comments
… suuure, and a vote for Nader is GOOD for Kerry? Posted by: GDubya at March 30, 2004 11:17 AM FWIW… I somehow missed this little tidbit from the Associated Press on command-post.org: ATLANTA - Ralph Nader said he will meet with John Kerry next month to discuss the effort to defeat President Bush in the November election. Hm, interesting? Or just more hot air? http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/8299847.htm Posted by: VoR at March 30, 2004 03:31 PM This is the old “If you run this way, I won’t run” discussion. Kerry won’t be able to do it the way Nader wants him to without moving sharply to the left. Posted by: Jeff at March 30, 2004 04:16 PM Lets see; Bush has a 100 million dollar money advantage, incumbancy, a lock in the South and the west, a real shot at California and Hillery Clinton on his side. Posted by: ableiter at March 31, 2004 12:33 AM VoR - You mean move sharply to the left…again. Posted by: Wayne FIelder at March 31, 2004 12:57 PM If kerry moves any further left, he’ll fall off the planet Slaughter ‘em up to the Moment of Birth Kerry is a pro-abortion extremist, “John Kerry has a solid, pro-abortion voting record,” explained Carol Tobias, political director for National Right to Life Committee. “He supports partial-birth abortion, he doesn’t think parents have the right to be notified if their minor daughter is pregnant and considering an abortion, he just doesn’t want to recognize that the unborn child exists. That’s why he’s opposed to the Unborn Victims of Violence Act. “If John Kerry is in the White House next year,” Tobias added, “millions of babies will die for years to come.” Excommunication for Kerry Sen. John Kerry’s defiance of his Church’s condemnation of abortion and approval of gay marriage is not only a problem for him and Catholic bishops, but for individual Catholics as well, according to a leading Catholic layman and editor. Photo Opportunity The issue is arising as Kerry campaigns around the nation and continues to insist on publicly receiving communion under the watchful eyes of the media. As a result, Hudson said, some bishops will have to face the issue head-on. “Some bishops will be very likely be forced to clarify the Catholic faith in the wake of any campaign stops by Sen. Kerry, especially if the human life issue arises.” Hudson left no doubt that in the absence of action by their bishops, individual Catholic priests should still turn Kerry away from Communion. “Absolutely, they should,” he said. Kerry’s Tax Proposals “hardworking individuals and married couples could have their taxes raised” by amounts that ranged from $201 billion to $477 billion. What Do Kerry and Chirac Have in Common? Posted by: Fat Guy at April 1, 2004 02:31 PM OH, and kerry’s comments will always bring FACTS to counter them like: Kerry: Arafat is a stateman Posted by: Fat Guy at April 1, 2004 02:36 PM Will Deanics support Kerry? Yes but will they contribute and campaign for them. I do see them voting against President Bush but the power of the Deanics were in their financial and campaign activism and I just don’t see Kerry generating that much charisma. Posted by: Jim at April 1, 2004 09:06 PM They are still part of the “anyone but Bush” crowd. Even if it means the destruction of the USA. They think they could defend America with kisses and hugs, and that these Islamic fanatics don’t have their own agenda, which will reward them with death or conversion, (free prayer mat with each one!) Democrats have no brains. No clue as to whats going on in the world, only their warm fuzzy dreams of some socialist utopia. Posted by: Fat Guy at April 2, 2004 10:33 AM Post a comment
