Kerry | Its About The P-Op
It’s all about the background, actually, and the Reagan administration understood the art of the photo op image better than anyone. I’ll see your Harly (Made mostly in France and Spain) with an Aircraft Carrier (100% American made) and raise you a turkey dinner. The P-op is old news, and no longer functional. The Silent majority has discovered the internet and blogging, they are no longer satisfied with being spoon-frd Pap (or P-op’s). Sorry, but it’s true. That is why the numbers of viewers for the big 3 has declined by 50 to 25 % over the last 10 years and the rate of decline is increasing. Do a graph on TV ratings for the big 3 and new broad band hook-ups. Broad band is the bullet in the nape of the neck for TV news programs. The advertisers are on to this already. The days of Katie ‘Hot body cold Synapsis’ Koric types smakin down million dollar contracts are about over. I won’t be suprised when the networks start trotting out the anchors in Janet Jackson mode to boost ratings. That won’t work for long, if at all. Plenty of that on the internet also. The only thing he was missing was one of those clown hats that you see at the “X-games”. I don’t think Americans are looking for a President who snowboards. What he needed was to be photographed tearing around in a loud, gas-guzzling snowmobile. Now that’s something that would’ve been worth a few votes.
