2004 US Presidential Election

Kerry wins easily…

Utah:
Kerry 55% (estimated delegates: 5)
Edwards 30% (estimate delegates: 3)
Kucinich 7%
Dean 3%
Uncommitted 1%

Idaho:
Kerry 54% (estimated delegates: 12)
Edwards 22% (estimated delegates: 6)
Dean 11%
Kucinich 6%
Sharpton 0%

Hawaii:
Kerry 46% (estimated delegates: 12)
Kucinich 30% (estimated delegates: 8)
Edwards 13%
Dean 9%
Sharpton 0%

Wow! Delegates for Kucinich! Those are the first pledged delegates he’s won this entire primary season.

Supposedly Dean had a very strong organization in Hawaii; I wonder if a lot of his supporters deserted to Kucinich’s camp, since Dean was out of the race?

Delegate scorecard, including unpledged superdelegates who have declared their allegiance, according to CNN:
Kerry 727
Edwards 212
Dean 182
Clark 57
Sharpton 16
Kucinich 10
(Needed to nominate: 2,162)
