Hey foreigners! Get that authentic US election experience! Cast a vote that will never be counted.

Why should they bother with that, when they can cast votes that won’t be counted in their home countries?

One could talk about, say the “elections” in Iran, or Haiti, for that matter, but where’s the fun in that?

Uh, a voice?!? Someone needs to call the clue line. When you get your US citizenship and can vote, then you have a voice, until then… Well I no more care about what you think about our elections than you should care what I think about yours.

Shall I go get a clue bat, Myria, so’s you can hammer ‘em with it? Might be fun to watch :-)

I’m amused that they hid the disclaimer that your vote does not count way at the bottom, and that they claim to be verifying the U.S. election is legitimate.

It seems like a good way to harvest email for spam though.

Dont bother guys. Dirk is still stuck on Florida. Judges in Missouri arbitrarilly ordering voting places to remain open extended hours in heavilly democratic districts doesnt bother him, but not counting every possible way until Gore wins Florida, and then stopping, well thats how democracy is sposed to work. In looney lefty land.

Obviously what’s needed is USAbstains.org — A site that will allow American voters to not bother voting in elections all over the world, including their own.

dirk Perhaps you could suggest that they write you in as a ‘Meaningless Candidate’ or would you rather just carp about it?

“cast a vote that will never be counted”
You mean like instructing pollsters how to discard military absentee ballots?

Posted by: coastygirl at February 23, 2004 03:19 PM

Dirk,

Do you mean claiming on national television and radio that Al Gore is the for sure, projected winner in the state of Florida hours before the polls close as a means to make every vote count?
