| Will the Deaniacs become Greeniacs?

Power Line Blog thinks so. He pulls some quotes from the Dean blog that give good reason to believe the loyal Dean followers will be voting third party come November.

No way. Bush hatred is too strong. It would be funny, but it would not be reality.

I dunno, some of these people invested a lot, materiallly and spiritually, into Dean…

It actually sort of makes sense, theway the quotes put it. You only have to hate Kerry slightly more than half as much as you do Bush to conclude that 4 years of Bush is a better deal than 8 years of Kerry…

Amusing as it would be to see Dean supporters doing this en masse, I’m not expecting it.

Dean supporters will either switch to Ralph Nader or Edwards. The grassroots that is. The big hunchos Dean “supporters” will go for Kerry’s money. I mean policies.

Another vote splitter. Disaster for the Dems.

I don’t even think most Dean supporters have even given it a thought. I’m sure it’s true that a good amount of the people that were supporting Nader in 2000 supported Dean as well but if they’re going to go anywhere it will be to Edwards. They know they have to support a democrat this time around and Edwards is their underdog.
