I won! I won! Posted by: Anthony at February 12, 2004 02:56 PM Clark plans on being the VP candidate. At least, that is his goal with this. But I wonder if it will make a difference, thanks to the latest news concerning Kerry’s infidelity. Posted by: FH at February 12, 2004 04:48 PM Clark is a nut. That’s the only way to describe him. He’s like the Teddy Kennedy of the Clinton clan, you can see little glimmers of the gift in him, but it just sharply contrasts to the lack of a personality and supercharged ambition. Not attractive. “In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: “Kerry will implode over an intern issue.” [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]” And then he endorses the guy. If I were one of our resident conspiracy theorists I’d be wondering if Clark was a republic agent provacateur right about now. What a nutcase. Posted by: mark buehner at February 12, 2004 05:11 PM Sorry, that was from: Posted by: mark buehner at February 12, 2004 05:12 PM My speculation is that the Kerry campaign, and Clark, believe the “intern issue” can be dealt with successfully. There is some evidence to support such a belief, Clinton’s impeachment defense and Schwarzenegger’s election. Posted by: Dan spencer at February 12, 2004 05:17 PM An endorsement certainly wouldn’t mesh well with the theory that this is a bomb thrown by Clark as he exits the race, to make room for Hillary. But I’m not that paranoid. Posted by: Sean Kirby at February 12, 2004 06:32 PM Am I incorrect in believing that Hillary cannot run? Posted by: Cap'n DOC at February 12, 2004 07:03 PM Does that come complete with Madonna and Michael Moore endorsements? Posted by: Claire at February 12, 2004 08:23 PM i thought it was a bad idea of clark stepping aside like that,i thought he was the man for the job.but i always thought that it would be great if kerry and clark were the ones in the whitehouse with our dems and defending our nation and bringing it back from the brink of economic collapse before we dont evern have an economy anymore especially with the republican scumbags running over 7 trillion debt load after stealing 5.6 trillion surplus and gave it all to the rich and powerfull and they wernt even suppost to touch the publics money in all those trust funds that ran that unprecedented surplus Posted by: charles at February 12, 2004 09:04 PM Oh, please. Posted by: johnnymozart at February 13, 2004 07:58 AM Well, Kerry is denying everything. If he’s guilty, now he’s dead. And foolish. I agree that if he was guilty he could probably have admitted everything and survived relatively unscathed. Posted by: mark buehner at February 13, 2004 09:13 AM Even if there was nothing happening, just “putting on the moves”, wouldn’t that be harrassment? Nothing will come of any of it unless there is a cover up. Either way, Bush will be blamed. Posted by: jones at February 13, 2004 10:11 AM let’s see, a guy running for president who flirted with an intern for a while… …or a president who snorted coke like it was going out of style… …hmm… Posted by: x at February 13, 2004 11:08 AM progress!
