| WA Caucus Could Be A "Nail Biter"

So say the folks writing headlines at The Olympian:

Howard Dean, the former Vermont governor, established a beachhead in Washington state last summer, raising more money than his top four competitors combined. It looked as though he’d roll to victory here, just as he appeared ready to do nationally.

But after Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry won the Iowa caucuses, New Hampshire’s primary and five of seven states holding primaries and caucuses last Tuesday, Dean’s star fell a bit — and the local push for retired Gen. Wesley Clark of Arkansas has remained somewhat quiet. Two other candidates, North Carolina Sen. John Edwards and the Rev. Al Sharpton, haven’t shown much effort in Washington.

“My sense is it’s going to be a nail-biter. If Iowa taught us nothing, it’s difficult to poll caucuses,” said Steve Haro, spokesman for Dean’s campaign in Washington state. “Washington is extraordinarily important; 78 delegates are up for grabs. … Is it a must-win? No. Do I think we are going to win? Yes.”

Caucus organizers in WA also expect a record turnout. Seems the democratic process is making a comeback ….

Dean could really use the win right about now. Might help him take Wisconsin, and open the race. Too early to tell though…

So, when do the Michigan and Washington
results come out? Today, tomorrow ???

Can you believe the whining going on in
Michigan right now about a false election,
worse than the 1960’s before the Civil Rights
Act of 1964, etc. etc.

Some precints were moved, etc. I am totally sick
and tired of black “so-called and self-appointed
representatives” whining and whining and whining
and whining and whining just because their
candidate (Dean, in this case) is getting his tail
handed to him.

No. 1 - Dean is disliked by 82% of the respondents
in the most recent Poll that was done in Michigan.
He is TOTALLY UNFIT to be a dogcatcher, let
alone President.

No. 2 - If that Michigan idiot had people that could
read maybe they would be qualified to vote.

No. 3 - WHAT? Read, he screamed. No way! No
way! No way! Then I would no longer be paid
for their votes. They could decide who to vote for
on their own and they would immediately get rid of
me!

Voters Read! Absolutely No way!
