Kerry | U.S. Veterans & Vietnamese Unite To Oppose John Kerry

Via press release dated February 5, 2004, from the Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry:

Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry (V.V.A.J.K.) today announced a national coalition with Vietnamese Americans for Human Rights in Vietnam.

“We represent hundreds of thousand of American veterans who do not want to see John Kerry any where near the Oval Office,” said Ted Sampley, founder of V.V.A.J.K, and a U.S. Army Green Beret and veteran of two combat tours in Vietnam.

Said Sampley, “I have personally dealt with John Kerry on the issue of US POWs left behind in Vietnam. Kerry is not truthful and is not worthy of the support of US veterans. Many Vietnam vets have been duped into thinking Kerry is their friend. He is not. To us, he is ‘Hanoi John’”

Dan Tran said speaking as a member of Vietnamese Americans Against John Kerry, “On behalf of tens of thousands of Vietnamese-Americans, we are determined to demonstrate against Senator Kerry all across this nation.

The Coalition plans nationwide demonstrations against Kerry beginning with the New York and Massachusetts primaries.

Some of those pictues of Kerry in his hippy garb ought to be enough to alienate most veterans.

That’s just the endorsement Democrats want to hear. “Hanoi John? I never realized he was so heroically progressive and intellectual. Sounds like my kind of guy!”

Just think of it — if everyone of draft age had been able to do what George Bush did during the Viet Nam War, the War would have ended so much earlier than it did — because no one would have shown up to fight it. At least from our side anyway.

It must be because most of the people writing on this page have not seen real combat that they would chose to belittle John Kerry and support a draft dodger.

Goldie, we have seen real combat, unlike Kerry who got a silver star for shooting a wounded Charlie. The man is a disgrace to any vet and we find it offensive that now he spouts his war record.

IF I AM NOT WRONG WASN‘T KERRY ONLY IN COUNTRY FOUR MONTHS?AND THE FIRST TWENTY FOUR HOURS
GOT HIS FIRST P.H. HE MUST OF GOT A MEDEL FOR EVERY MONTH HE WAS THERE!
