| Clark Jr.: Dad Should Quit If He Loses OK

A tense evening may be in store for the presidential campaign of retired Gen. Wesley Clark.

On Clark’s official blog, a commenter posted this story out of Reuters:

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - Retired general Wesley Clark (news - web sites)’s only son blasted the media for its coverage of his father’s bid for the Democratic nomination Tuesday and said he would like to see his father withdraw from the race if he does not win the Oklahoma primary

Wesley Clark Jr. a 34-year-old screenwriter, in a meeting with reporters while his father called voters from a phone bank, said; “I’d like to see him win today. If he doesn’t win I don’t want to see him stay out there.

“It’s a really disillusioning experience.”

Early exit polling today showed Clark in third place in the Oklahoma primary, but within three points of first place.
