Election Night: Edwards will be at Jillian’s on Gervais in Columbia, Sharpton will be at the Sheraton in Columbia (I-20 at U.S. 378)

Michael Graham will be on the Today Show today at 9 am (according to his site - think it’s tape delayed until 10 on WYFF while they show Regis & Kelly.) Thanks to Michael for the link to my primary coverage. He also has started a new radio job in the 10 a.m.-Noon slot on WMAL in Washington, DC.

Democratic Party drops voter pledge, Post & Courier

Party ditches plan to make voters sign pledge, The State:

Rice University political scientist Earl Black, formerly of the University of South Carolina, called the party’s decision to retract the oath “an assertion of common sense.”

But, he added, the damage might have been done.

“The net result will probably be to confuse some potential voters, since not everyone will probably get the news of the change here on the eve of a vote,” he said. “It is a self-inflicted wound that now has been healed, but it is going to leave a fair amount of confusion.”
