| Poll Position 2/1: Sharpton Rising

According to January 31, 2004 poll by the American Research Group, Sharpton leads Dean by 1% going into Tuesday’s primary. However, the newest Zogby poll has those numbers reversed.

Either way, it’s been a long way down for Dean, who polled at 21% in S.C. back in December.

Perhaps Sharpton can attribute his rise in numbers to the all important Moby endorsement?

From this it seems clear that the VP is a choice between Clark and Edwards. Seems to be a no-brainer…

Edwards can balance the ticket. Kerry/Edwards is the best choice.

could sharpton have a chance as vice presidential candidate? he certainly has style and seeing as how it would be our first (which is kinda sad) african american vice presidential nominee wouldn’t it secure the african american vote? i’ve been wondering why no one is talking about him.

The reason no one takes Sharpton seriously is that he has instigated riots in which people have been killed.

He is in this to be a king maker not a candidate.

They say that nobody votes for the Vice President part of the ticket. However, if Sharpton is the guy, a lot of people would for danged sure vote against the VP. Even Sharpton can’t be thinking he can ask for a VP nomination out of this (even if he has delegates to trade). Whatever he gets, if he gets anything, will probably be something unknown until after the general election.
