2004 US Presidential Election

Lieberman | Lieberman The Optimist
On FOXNews: “Thanks to the people of New Hampshire, we’re in a three-way split decision for third place!” Says he is going to stay in the ring. Also just called Howard Dean “John Dean” by mistake. This isn’t a race, “it’s a cause.” Posted by Alan at January 27, 2004 09:57 PM | TrackBack Comments
If G. Gordon Liddy finds out that the Howard Dean is actually John Dean, the Doctor will be in big trouble. :) In his acceptance speech at the 1976 Democratic National Convention, former Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter had a little slip of the tongue like that. Apparently blurting out a disparaging nickname that he liked to use in the privacy of his Inner Circle, Carter praised the distinguished Democrat, former Vice President, and Minnesota US Senator, “Hubert Horatio Hornblower.” Like Lieberman re Governor Dean, Jimmuh quickly corrected the inadvertent public Diss of HHH: Hubert Horatio Humphrey. / Rather embarrassing. :) Posted by: The Pooka at January 27, 2004 11:43 PM Post a comment
