Command Post 2004 Polls | Clark Takes Commanding Lead in NH Primary!

Well, okay, as of 1:11AM EST out of 24 Democratic Primary votes cast in Dixville Notch and Harts Location, Wesley Clark took 14 (58%), Kerry takes 8 (33%) Dean and Edwards both tie at 4 (17% each), Lieberman takes 1 (4%), while Kucinich and Sharpton draw a goose egg. It’s gonna be a long day. Go get some sleep, why don’t ‘cha?

Peggy Noonan says: Democrats, for the good of the country: Stop Wesley Clark!

And so my Democratic friends, patriots who vote Democratic and are voting in today’s primary and the ones down the road. Please. We will take Joe Lieberman or John Kerry or even young John Edwards, men who appear to be somewhere in the normal range. We need a person who could rally the nation on a terrible day, and who could arguably meet the security demands the age requires. We can’t afford flip-outs, or people who are too obviously creepy. Just a person in the normal range. Is that asking too much?

Ouch.

Hey Peggy…
compare Clark and GWB resumes. especially the part about the prancing deserter/draft dodger. If Reagan’s go-to-gal is against him, he may be just the ticket for the Ds.

Carl,

Any facts in that screed?

Posted by: jones at January 27, 2004 01:10 PM

truly a screed, an informal piece of writing…opinionated at that.

Clark - NATO Commander; can order breakfast in Bosnia
Bush - National Guard instead of Vietnam; see also www.awolbush.com; “Bring ‘Em On”—my boys can beat yours any day.

Clark and supporter’s comments on Bush treatment of military and playing TopGun…Dukakis moment—“Mission Accomplished” photo opportunity. GWB just didn’t have the stupid helmet.

opinion—what is the meaning of the R base already dishing dirt on Clark?

But suspect all this was already known…the question strikes me as the kind of QED seen regularly on FoxNews

Any facts that belie?
