Kerry | Kerry Victory Simulblog

Via CNN TV:

Ted Kennedy leads off with "Thank you Iowa ... we love Iowa ... do you want to hear from the Comeback Kid ... this is the beginning of the end of the Bush administration."

(OK ... Kennedy scares me.) Now with Kerry: "Iowa ... I love you ... last night the New England Patriots won ... tonight this New Englander won, and you've set me on my way to the Super Bowl ... thank you Iowa for making me the Comeback Kerry."

"I have listened to you, and I have learned a lot ... you have made me a better candidate."

"I make this pledge ... I have only just begun to fight ... in the months and years ahead I pledge that I will be fighting for you and for Americans all across this country ... for those of you who are not yet part of this interest, I ask you to go to JohnKerry.com ... I know that was a shameless advertisement for my website ... but it works!"

"Healthcare is not a privilege for the wealthy and the powerful ... it is a right for all Americans, and we will make it available to all Americans."

"And now I have a special message for the special interests that have a home in the Bush White House ... we're coming, you're going, and don't let the door hit you on the way out."

"It is time to stop having Americans just work for the economy, and time to have an economy work for Americans."

"We will hold this president accountable for making a mockery of the words 'Leave not child behind.'"

"The one person in the United States of America who deserves to be laid off is George W. Bush, and that's what we're going to do."

"I pledge to you that we will stop the right wing attack on our rights and our civil liberties in this country ... I will appoint an Attorney General who is not John Ashcroft, because we, all of us, following in the footsteps of Martin Luther King, we still have a dream, and it is unfulfilled in this country ... we will finish the long, unfinished march towards civil rights in America, and that means for all Americans."

"George Bush, to put it quite simply, has run the most arrogant, inept, reckless, and ideological foreign policy in the modern history of our country, and we are going to turn it around by joining the community of nations, we will go back to the United Nations, and we will turn over a new chapter in America's relationship with the world.”

“Now … Karl Rove and George Bush have already announced that they intend to run this election on national security. And, you can understand why … they can’t exactly run on jobs, they can’t exactly run on healthcare for all Americans, they can’t exactly run on having left no child behind, they can’t run on the environment and advancing the cause of human kind … and I look forward to reminding them that I know something about aircraft carriers for real, ladies and gentlemen. If George Bush wants to make national security the central issue of this campaign, I have three words for him we know he understands: ‘Bring it on!’”

“Stand with me, and I will fight for you … let’s make mission accomplished a reality.”

We’re “fighting” again?

Didn’t Prince Al say the same thing?

And what about all those Americans who have access to health care and Choose Not to take the policy?

What a big mouth that Kerry is! Well, no pun intended.

Funny how the media jumps from one bandwagon to another. Having “created” front-runner Dean, they showed their power by tearing him right back down. How many newscycles until they tire of Kerry and Edwards, tear them down, veer back to Dean, flirt with Clark and finally settle on Leiberman as the great white hope? And that just until the NH primary comes up ;)
