2004 US Presidential Election

| Latest Iowa Numbers (1/12/04)
This Poll is from Zogby. It's slightly different from the one I posted yesterday, which should give us a little pause when making any sort of forecast. Howard Dean 25 % Posted by Mike Van Winkle at January 12, 2004 10:53 AM | TrackBack Comments
Hmmm….I’m wondering if Clark’s numbers haven’t dropped a bit since….oh…this morning… From the New York Times: “Tape Shows General Clark Linking Iraq and Al Qaeda ….”Certainly there’s a connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda,” he said in 2002. “It doesn’t surprise me at all that they would be talking to Al Qaeda, that there would be some Al Qaeda there or that Saddam At numerous campaign events in the past three months and in a book published last year, General Clark has asserted that there was no evidence linking Iraq and Al Qaeda. He has also accused the Bush At a town hall meeting here on Jan. 4, for example, General Clark said, “There was no imminent threat from Iraq, nor was Iraq connected with Al Qaeda.”“ http://www.nytimes.com/2004/01/12/politics/campaigns/12CLAR.html?ei=5062&en=9f6c7ece0c21223f&ex=1074574800&partner=GOOGLE&pagewanted=print&position= First Clinton says he believed Saddam had WMD and now Clark says he believed there was an Iraq-Al Qaeda connection. I’m thinking the Dems need a database just to keep their stories straight. Hell, ***I*** need a database to keep their stories straight. :-) Posted by: jeffers at January 12, 2004 01:48 PM Is it just me or has the press turned into absolute bone-heads? I mean, okay, I know they are predominently on the liberal side of the spectrum, and yes, yes, yes, I know they love to hate Bush. But my Gaia, you couldn’t make stuff like this up in a million years!!! Wes Clark, who was FIRED as a military commander says one thing in 2002 and then another thing now. Howard Dean likes to say, “Well, I’ve heard that George Bush actually flew those airplanes in WTC. Now, I don’t believe that personally, but that’s what I’ve heard.” Then, you’ve got Al Sharpton. Two words Tawana Brawley. And the press is completely silent on these items. Sigh, I guess I still have to get rid of some naivete.
