| Dean's Big Foreign Policy Speech

Howard Dean is trying to attack his weakness before his opponents do. He has surrounded himself with experts and even delivered a 'major' Foreign Policy speech yesterday. You can read the text here.

Also, go check out Dan Drezner's analysis of the speech. He points out that Dean isn't really saying that much that is different from Bush.

Howard Dean knows just as much Foreign Policy as any hate America First, blame America First, America Started It, It’s America’s job to please people, College Liberal knows.

Perhaps less… You can’t associate foreign policy with Howard Dean with a straight face.

His entire foreign policy is to ‘please’ people in order to ‘do something.’ Howard Dean has ABSOLUTELY no answer to what happens when ‘You can not please people!’

The whole Democratic Party is almost made up with this “Please everyone First” non-strategy.

If Dean knows nothing about foreign policy then he knows appreciably more then Bush.

Did I scare you!?

Your reaction to my post is far different than any reaction I would have expected from you. Then again I do still have a little ‘optimism’ left for Liberals.

Instead of saying, “No no! Dean has a strategy and plan for what to do when Diplomacy fails!”

The American People want to know what this DA*N strategy is.

Where’s Howard Dean’s Foreign Policy Strategy when the rest of the world doesn’t see things his way and can not be made to agree? What does Dean do?

When you vote in the election 2004…. I don’t think you should waste for your vote on Howard Dean until you can answer this question.

So far you have proven to us all that you can not!

Howard Dean’s Foreign Policy Strategy is to basically put a Straight Jacket on our Military.

Let’s be diplomatic no matter what!!!

That doesn’t work in this world. As soon as your diplomatic approach has all dried up… Then what? America can’t live in a straight jacket!
