CA Recall | Ueberroth Quits Recall Race
From CNN:
With the latest statewide poll showing his support in the single digits, Republican gubernatorial candidate Peter Ueberroth Tuesday pulled out of the October 7 recall race.
"I will continue to work hard, I'm going to work very hard to keep jobs in this state and to create jobs in this state – but not as a candidate for governor," said Ueberroth.

Well, that clears up the field a little. What are we, down to 134 candidates now?
More seriously, there went the “fiscal conservative” candidate. Do his numbers go to Arnie or McClintock?

Although Uebberoth had no chance of winning, he was the only one with a clear economic plan to battle the budget crisis. It wasnt just rhetoric either. Look at his credentials. He was seriously running to help the state. Hopefully Arnold will adopt his econ plan. Dissapointed.
