2004 US Presidential Election

| Winer: elect a blogger
Christopher Lydon, a radio journalist, interviewed a number of people recently and posted the audio on his blog. One of those he interviewed was Dave Winer. The interview is an overview of blogging, and a revealing peek at Winer's political leanings (he mentions the 2000 election, if that gives you any indication). But at the end of the interview, Winer has some interesting thoughts about the 2004 and the need (and his personal desire) to elect a blogger as president. Lydon has also interviewed Robert Fisk, the Daily Kos and Real Live Preacher, among others. found via: Bob Stepno's other weblog Posted by Bryan M at August 31, 2003 12:21 AM | TrackBack Comments
That interview was the first time I had ever heard Winer’s voice. Somehow it was not at all what I had expected. He sounds like some dorky adolescent geek. I was wondering if the interview had been switched with Mark Pilgrim (whose voice I haven’t heard, but which I would expect to sound like that).
