... should we cover the Cal. Gov. Recall story? We can, in this space, if that's what readers prefer. If you have an opinion, voice it in the comments.

(Note: Yes, posts have been spurious lately, but I was on vacation. I'm back, and I'm thinking elections.)

Alan, the governor’s recall race in CA will be the 800-pound gorilla in this year’s cycle. I have a harder time imagining this site IGNORING it than addressing it.

It’s not the presidency, to be sure, but it’s probably going to be a whole lot more interesting and you’d be crazy to miss it.

You might want to solicit some help from bloggers who are all over this race. Try www.prestopundit.com

Yup. I was kinda wonderin’ if Larry ‘the Spark’ Flyin’t was goin’ to get wings for the chair. I hate bein’ blunt, but his ‘legitimacy’ lacks mobility. The sheer comedic value of such a race sucks, but how ridiculous is lack of breathable air? Give ‘em all some air time. Expose the weaknesses of all the varied ‘agendas’. There isn’t a one of them that knows squat about running government, but just who the hell does? Let ‘em all spend their disposable income. See if THAT makes a dent in their collective indebtedness. I doubt that politics can sink much lower, unless they legalize prostitution in CA, like they did in NV.

Spurious? I think you mean “Sporadic”. Spurious means false, misleading, unsubstantiated…. and Michael Moore has the copyright on that.

Actually, AEB, I meant spurious … ;-)

I wouldn’t bother covering it. It is obvious those Hollywood crazy Californians will make Arnold governor. Plus there are more than 200 idiots running aand you’d have to cover every one. Sen. Feinstein was right, this recall is a carnival.
