Clinton Gears Up for Election Bid ... Sort of

Just days after a poll showed Hillary Clinton in a statistical dead heat with Bush in a hypothetical election, she is launching a website called Friends of Hillary Clinton. The site will ostensibly serve as a fundraising tool for her 2006 re-election campaign, but will also be used for general Democratic outreach. No doubt the move will feed suspicions on the part of Republicans who believe, despite her repeated denials, that Clinton has not counted out a run in 2004.

You can always tell when a Clinton is lying………their lips are moving.

The minute she denied running for pres……..that’s when you knew for sure she was going to.

Michael and Jeff B

That thought scares the hell out of me… For a few seconds… Then I come back to my senses and realize that even the wife of the Idol of Liberals will not beat GWB… He’s in for another four.

Seth…..that’s what is wonderful about the upcoming election. It’s going to be a comedy watching the libs trying to outdo each other. A very enlightening comedy for the American people.

I think the time is ‘ripe’ for suggesting some stellar performers for her ‘Cabinet’. Will that work for you? Yuppers. That works. I want Nobody in there, and No-body (2 distinctly different individuals), Anybody, and Nobodywanttoknow. Turnip, Parsnip and Onlynow, and I think there’s even room for Don Holmuth as Secretary of Defense. I wonder if she’d cross party lines and take Herb as the Surgeon General? He’d make a smokin’ sweet member, wouldn’t he? We have to squeeze Gen’l. Patton in there as Ambassador to France, but who’s goin’ to be the UN rep? Nobody is so capable in all these spots, she has a tough row to ‘hoe’ when it comes Creative Cabinetry…

Posted by: Dave Dubé at July 29, 2003 07:45 AM

No way would ‘Herb’ work with that pack of rats. On second thought……after his first day or two of being around that crew, he’d probably go ‘postal’ and do a ‘Rambo’ on the whole mess. End of problem.

Jeff B - That’s what I said - He’ll smoke ‘em.

I’m an idiot. When are primaries? Any primary?

Posted by: TBox at July 29, 2003 04:10 PM

I think they are in September……not sure what year. :)

Posted by: Jeff B at July 30, 2003 12:20 AM

Late Spring, I believe the earliest is Mar-Apr-May of 2004. They are (in the states) to elect the party voters for precinct or voting district reps. There could be states that have them earlier than that, but ours (MT) is in June.

I’m usually bored by January 1st…

Posted by: Cap'n SPIN at July 30, 2003 08:09 AM

Ye gods, another six months of this?

Posted by: TBox at July 30, 2003 10:07 AM

Yuppers. I hear THIS one is gearin’ up for the SegraGAYtion Campaign. I wonder when emigrants in CA are goin’ to be wantin’ one a dem in their ‘hood… You know, for Chicano Gay kids. How about a school for just straight kids from two parent once married homes of faith? No wait! We already have them, but they’re NOT Public! I WANT A SEGREGATED PUBLIC SCHOOL, HILLARY. FOR ME,ME,ME,ME,ME. Got it? Socialist carp, anyway. I am sick to death already of this feminist carp, and now we’re supposed to edugate Gay kids, because they are ‘abused’…

Posted by: Cap'n SPIN at July 30, 2003 01:04 PM

You can also tell when Bush is lying: his lips are moving.

Posted by: Aaron at July 30, 2003 01:39 PM

Aaron! GWB never lies! Loose lips, sink ships, Aaron. The DemoDerbyShip, OTOH, has more holes below the waterline than a piece of aired out Swiss cheese. The only thing I see movin’ on your boat, is your SphincterLips. Turn on the bilge pump!

“SURVIVOR, OKLAHOMA STYLE”

CBS is developing an Oklahoma version of “Survivor,” the popular reality television show. Contestants must travel from Tulsa through Ponca City, Enid, Woodward, Elk City, and back to Tulsa through Lawton, Oklahoma City, Ardmore, McAlester and Muskogee, driving a Volvo with a sign on both doors that reads:
I’m a gay vegetarian Democrat and I’m here to take your guns.

The first to complete the round trip alive is the winner. Applications can be picked up at the Department of Transportation in Oklahoma City.

I hope she picks Gorebot for her running mate and let the comedy commense! This election is beginning to be more hillarious than listening to Ross Perot and his war vet running mate (GIRDLOCK!\)

Speaking of which, Hillary hasn’t dropped the whole ‘Vast Right Wing Conspiracy’ deal. I bet there are PLENTY of things we could do to show her what a real Right Wing Conspiracy actually looks like.

Posted by: Jeff MacMillan at August 1, 2003 11:13 PM

why even worry about all this nonsense. I am that ex democrat and I am telling you, Bush wins in 2004. If Hillary decides to run, even more so.

In 2008, Condy creams Hillary.

Aaron what has W lied about

Posted by: atomicdog at August 5, 2003 08:49 AM

atomicdog-
Uh, Bush has lied about weapons of mass destruction, there being an imminent threat from Iraq, Iraq trying to get uranium from Niger, saying he’ll support bipartisan politics, and that he’ll help the economy. I’m sure he’s lied about tons of other things.
