Lieberman Criticizes Bush not Iraq

On the "Today" show ... eh, today ... Lieberman maintained firm in his support for the Iraq War, but stepped up his criticism of the Bush administration's handling. Offering up a pretty good sound byte, the senator observed that Bush's intelligence failures risks giving "a bad name to what really was a just war."

I’m really looking forward to the primaries where most of these monkeys will start dropping out.

I for one hope the monkeys stay. Better monkeys running for president than ostriches. If Lieberman didn’t bad mouth Bush I’d be worried about the continued existance of the democrats as a major political party. At least he hasn’t had his head stuck in the sand for the past year like most of his adversaries in the democratic primary.

Uhhhh…..I don’t think the ‘sand’ is where they’ve got their heads stuck.

Gee. How can anyone seriously question the judgement of a man who promotes Kweise Infume as a candidate for the Supreme Court?

That voice! A sublime blend of a man whose bran muffin hasn’t clicked in, liberal whine, and the ambivilance of the endrogenous “Pat” character created by Julia Sweeny on SNL….

He’s toast!

Although, I have to give Liberman credit. He reserved his worst criticism for others in the Democratic party. He referred to his concern about his party’s “inability to recognize a just war when they see one”

In ref. to ‘Pat’ Lieberman: He/she could have done a much better job……..he/she is just not going to tell us how…….even with 20/20 hindsight.

He would have ‘Lieberated’ those Iraqis, alright.

He was a member of my former boss’ clique(the Honorable WJ Clinton, indeed), like that Carville puke, as good a reason as any not to give him a second thought.
That crowd was as much the enemy of my military as any Baathist will ever be, and they were certainly no friends of their own country.

gijoe - MOST politicians (note, there are exceptions), get where they are at a price. ALL have an ‘agenda’. The Democratic ‘agenda’ and ‘platform’ require much more ‘compromise’ in order to get all of the ‘interest groups’ on the same page. I’m sorry that the bulk of the ‘specials’ have the ear of the Democratic Party, and that although there are exceptions (i.e. Log Cabin Gang), the ‘Gay Rights’ folks are primarily Democrats. Our current President has spoken on the ‘SameSexMarriage agenda’, which with the exception of the group mentioned above, is Democratic. Sorry. I just call ‘em as I sees ‘em.
